Strange pet hybrid (dream)

Today was special, my dream included a pet but let me start from the beginning.

I was at a restaurant, a Lebanese restaurant at that. The place was huge and there was the option for a buffet. I was browsing the types of food when something caught my attention. There was a species of worm or I should say eel moving behind the food. I asked the son of the owner about it and he said it was the pet of the store. The eel stood up vertically, almost as tall as me. Then the weirdest thing happened the eel unrolled itself, revealing not an eel but a type of manta ray with the face of an orange cat. The cat/manta ray/eel hybrid hugged me and was really playful. I hugged and petted him for a while. Then I decided that I had to wash my hands because I was all slimy. I went to the bathroom that had a butler holding a towel there and washed my hands.
